“Niras”

Travelogue in English or One kind of Thai poem, the poet usually writes while travelling and visiting a place. The story normally portrays the character of each place and also describes the feeling of leaving a beloved girl at home.

“Bankoc”

The ancient writing of the word “Bangkok” which was appeared in the second map of Siam printed on the historical letter of French Monsieur De La Loubere in 1688.

Our aim at the concept of a Cultural hostel, was to design the property from our own creation & experiences with a mission  to make this hostel a perfect place for travellers who love culture, allowing them to touch and feel the 100 year buildings historical past while being a social hub with a modern twist.

Originally, this building was built in the Reign of King Rama the IV back in 1869 and belonged to “The Royal Family – Prince KrommaluangSappasitPrasong.”  It is situated in the heart of the oldest culture and commercial area in Rattanakosin Island (Old City). At the beginning, this building became a Grocery store in 1905 and later became a Painting & Hardware shop in 1938. Next, the property is considered as heritage & conservation and was later renovated as a hostel that opened in Nov2008.
